Russia has launched a mass attack on Ukrainian energy infrastructure overnight, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy.
He noted that Moscow fired three hundred-vigilance-a drone and 35 missiles, aiming for energy infrastructures in the regions of Harcovo and Poltava in eastern Ukraine, where the basic gas production facilities are located.
Ukrainian authorities have not disclosed further information about the attack or damage caused.
Ukraine has already increased gas imports, fearing problems with domestic supply.
The Ukrainian government plans to raise 13.2 billion cubic meters of gas to storage facilities by mid -October.
