Government assurances: The budget will not be derailed from 67 million euros for the terminal

The state budget will not be derailed from the return of 67m euros to the European Union for the project in Vasilikos, the government assures.

Asked about the issue of informing journalists at the Presidential Palace, government spokesman Konstantinos Letibiotis replied that the amount of certainly cannot be considered small, but has been taken into account in the training of the annual state budget.

Referring to the political parties about what the government should do, Mr. Letibiotis said that a European Public Prosecutor's Office is currently being conducted on the terminal at the Vasilikos and the electric interconnection. He stressed that this investigation must be completed before any further actions by the Government.
