The United Nations complains that there is no safe refuge for Palestinians who are forced to leave the city of Gaza.
It even describes "places of death", the seat belts designated by Israel in the southern part of the Palestinian enclave.
"The idea of a South Security Zone is a farce," a UNICEF spokesman said.
He emphasized that in southern Gaza, bombs are falling at a frightening frequency, schools designated as temporary shelters have been turned into ruins, and scenes are systematically targeting air bombardment.
