The Xeniartspace Gallery presented to the public on September 25, 2025, the new iconic exhibition "Echoes of Her: Women in Greek Myths", an artistic path that illuminates the female figures of ancient Greek mythology, restoring them to the focus of history.
In Cyprus, the land where Aphrodite emerged from the foam of the sea, Greek myths are not only narratives, but live memory, woven in stone, mosaics and the soul of the place. And yet, in this wealth of symbols and forms, female voices were often silent, in the shadow of the gods and heroes, limited to the roles of mother, daughter or object of desire.
Ariadne, the abandoned mistress, Phaedra, a tragic victim of passion, Smyrna, condemned to eternal transformation, through the exhibition "Echoes of Her: Women in Greek Myths" acquire speech and voice, defining their own fate. Through painting, sculpture and mixed techniques, artists regenerate these primitive forms, transforming them into modern mirrors of femininity.

The exhibition hosts for the first time in Cyprus works by sculptor Nina E. Lishovska-Todorova, from Bulgaria, along with creations of 20 artists living and working on the island: Alexandra Stroganova, Alison Leggat, Andrea Charalambidou, Dafni Christoforou Vasiloudi, Elena Tsigaridou, Elizabeth Nenarokov, Fikos, Isabelle Bedevian, Julia Astraiou-Christoforou, Katerina Foukaras, Konstantinos Kiris, Leda Theo, Lisa Kara, Nikolas Antoniou, Paparazzi, Seville Alieva, Spyros.
This is also the basic philosophy of Xeniartspace: to host renowned artists from Cyprus and abroad, providing them with the opportunity to present their works.
