The Pedagogical Institute of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth of Cyprus, the Technology University of Cyprus (TEPAK), the Cyprus Mathematical Society (KYM), the University of Cyprus (PAK) and the Hellenic Mathematical Society (EME) and the Hellenic Mathematics Society (EME) Minister of Education, Sport and Youth of Cyprus, Dr. Athina Michaelidou.
The conference will take place at the Technology University of Cyprus (TEPAK), at the "Tassos Papadopoulos" building, on Friday, October 3, 2025 and Saturday, October 4, 2025.
The conference is dedicated to one of the most important personalities in the world history of mathematics, science and philosophy. Pythagoras, with his multi -dimensional work, had a profound effect on the fundamental concepts of science and philosophical thought, which continues to resonate in modern times.
The purpose of the conference is to bring mathematicians into contact, scientists of various specialties, philosophers and scholars, to explore the remarkable contribution of Pythagoras both in science and in the wider history of mankind.
The program includes suggestions by renowned experts and interdisciplinary discussions.
