A team ship of the sixth fleet of the US Navy arrived at Cyprus

On March 6, the United States Navy, USS Mount Whitney (LCC 20) arrived in the port of Larnaki.

“The Sixth Fleet of the USS Mount Whitney returned to Cyprus. This visit strengthens the connection between our countries and promotes the interests of the United States in the region. Each entry to the port makes America a stronger, safe and prosperous ”was written by the US Ambassador in Cyprus, Julie S. Davis on her page in Kh.

During the stay in Cyprus, on board the USS Mount Whitney will take a reception for senior representatives of the Republic of Cyprus, organized by Vice Admiral J. T. Anderson, the commander of the sixth fleet of the United States, and the Ambassador of Julie S. Davis. In addition, the crew of the ship and accompanying staff will be able to interact with local officials and get acquainted with the history and culture of the island.
