An 8-day detention order was issued by the Limassol Provincial Court against the three women who were arrested for the premeditated murder case of the Nigerian Victoria Osarumen Thompson.
Yesterday morning, the woman, aged 30, was found dead in an apartment building in the tourist area of Germasogeia, with injuries on various parts of her body.
According to what they claimed in their testimony, the arrested women returned at 5 in the morning to the apartment together with a friendly couple also from Nigeria.
There they found the victim in a furious state and in their attempt to calm her down, they were attacked by the thirty-year-old woman.
They then beat her with their hands and a broomstick. Afterwards, the unknown couple, who also participated in the episode, left the apartment, while the suspects went to sleep.
In the morning they found that the unfortunate thirty-year-old was unconscious and called an ambulance.
The couple, who were in the apartment at the time of the incident, are being sought and as soon as their information is verified, arrest warrants will be issued against them.
