Rescue of a person who fell down a slope by the Fire Department in Limassol District

The Fire Station Ag. Sergeant Ioannis Vassilis Krokou and EMAK responded to a call to rescue a person who fell down a 50-meter-high road slope in the Palodeia - Gerasa area in Limassol.

According to a statement from the Fire Service, with coordinated actions, the rescue teams reached the immobilized person, who appeared to be in good health, and using a telescopic arm carrier of the Service, he was taken to street level and handed over to the Ambulance crew.

It is added that EMAK responded a short time ago to Alethrikos to rescue a horse, part of whose body appears to be trapped in a well, and an attempt is being made to free it using a rescue harness.
