Applications for participation in the 2026 carnival in Limassol are now open. People “wearing simple sweatpants and T-shirts” will be refused

Limassol authorities have announced the start of accepting applications for participation in the 2026 carnival. Those wishing to join the celebration as part of a walking group or with a platform can fill out the form from 8:00 to 14:00 on weekdays at the cultural department of the municipality at st. Agiou Andreou, 253 (tel. 25745919).

Deadline is December 12, 1pm.  

The carnival will begin on February 12.

The Grand Parade will take place on February 22.

The Limassol Municipality clarified that it does not carry out registrations electronically or by telephone, and also does not accept applications from people who plan to be dressed at the carnival “in simple sweatpants and T-shirts.”
