The damage occurred in January in the Mavrokolmbou Dam was repaired, as EOA Pafos President Charalambos Pitkopitis and the provincial engineer of the Department of Water Development, Haris Kassioulis, told RIK.
Mr Pitkopitis said the barrier, with a capacity of 1.4 million cubic meters, has already begun to accept the first quantities of water.
Mr Kassioulis said that Mavrokolimbus is interconnected with the Paphos irrigation network and has the particularity of being able to store quantities of water from Asprokremos.
