The United States has launched new strikes in international waters, targeting vessels that Washington says are carrying drugs.
According to the US Armed Forces Southern Command, three speedboats were destroyed and five narco-terrorists were neutralized on two of the vessels.
The occupants of the third speedboat jumped overboard and got away before the craft was hit and sank.
It is currently unclear whether the attacks were carried out in the Caribbean or the Pacific.
With the new strikes launched by the American forces, the total number of people who have been killed in operations of this nature exceeded one hundred and ten.
