At around 23:30 on Sunday, December 7, an unknown person broke into a bakery in Agios Athanasios in Limassol. According to Cyprus News Agency, threatening with a knife, he demanded to give him cash from the cash register and a gold chain that was around the seller’s neck. Having taken the loot, the criminal fled.
According to the Cyprus Times, the thief's loot amounted to almost 2,000 euros. He was wearing a hood and speaking English. Limassol police are trying to establish his identity and whereabouts.
