Knife-wielding man robs bakery

A man wielding a knife robbed a bakery in Limassol late on Sunday night, the police said on Monday.

The police said a man entered the bakery and “extracted a sum of money from the till” while threatening workers with the knife.

In addition, they said, the man also stole a gold chain from the neck of one of the workers.

The police’s investigation into the matter is ongoing.
