Less bureaucracy and better service in Departments of the Ministry of Interior, promises Ioannou [VIDEO]

The Ministry of the Interior has announced that in 2026 it will proceed with substantial changes in the Departments of Town Planning and Landscaping, with the aim of modern services, less bureaucracy and better service.

The Minister of the Interior, Konstantinos Ioannou, reports that tomorrow, New Year's Day, Cyprus takes over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

He emphasizes that this is an important responsibility, but also a great opportunity for Cyprus to actively contribute to European decisions and to strengthen its voice and prestige in Europe.
