Long-range Ukrainian drones hit oil product tanks in the Russian port of Temryuk and a gas processing plant in Russia's Orenburg, a Ukrainian security service official told Reuters.
According to the official, the security agency will continue to systematically target facilities in Russia's oil and gas sector.
"Each of these strikes hurts the Russian budget, reduces foreign currency earnings and complicates logistics and fueling for the military," the official said.
Yesterday, on Christmas Eve, Russian air defenses shot down a total of 25 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles headed for Moscow, the mayor of the Russian capital announced.
