Larnaca: In custody arrested for arson cases

The Larnaca District Court issued a five-day detention order for a 30-year-old man, to facilitate investigations into cases of vehicle arson, attempted arson and malicious damage.

The 30-year-old was arrested yesterday, as part of an investigation into a case involving an attempt to set fire to a warehouse and setting fire to plastic baskets in a village in the province of Larnaca.

Evidence was obtained against the 30-year-old that he is involved in two other cases of arson of vehicles, which were committed on December 16 and 23.
