To the west of the village of Fini, in the town of Vines, surrounded by pine trees and bushes, stands the chapel of St. Marina. Although the temple is relatively new, the religious significance of this place has been preserved since ancient times.
Local residents regularly visited these areas and held services here in the open air. In 1999, the Psallios family donated a plot of land, and local resident Antonakis Chrysostomou donated a sum of money for the construction of the temple. This is how a small church appeared, accommodating 50-70 people. At the western entrance to the temple there is an icon of St. revered by local residents. Marina.
Fini is a mountain village in Troodos, located at an altitude of approximately 920 meters above sea level. It is known as the village of potters, as it carefully preserves the long tradition of pottery, which flourished in Fini thanks to the huge deposits of red clay. According to various indications, a settlement has existed in this area since the Middle Ages. The Venetian bridges surrounding the village indicate that in the 16th century it was the center of a route for the delivery of goods from Troodos to the coast. However, the settlement began to flourish only in the middle of the twentieth century.
