In Limassol, a large viper was caught in the courtyard of a house

On November 5, the famous Cypriot herpetologist Yiannis Angelis was again called to an unusual task - this time to the village of Parekklisha in the Limassol region, where residents discovered a snake on their property.

As can be seen from the video published by Angelis himself, it was about a large fin (or a type of non-venomous snake), which the owners of the house found in the bushes in the yard. The specialist quickly arrived on the scene, calmly and professionally caught the snake and safely removed it from the territory, without endangering either people or animals.

In a post on social media, the herpetologist again urged residents to be careful. Due to the prolonged drought and unusually high temperatures for this time of year, many snakes remain active and continue to seek shelter and food.

It is important to note that this is the second such incident in Limassol in the last few hours, which confirms that even in November it is worth remaining vigilant.
