Africans are fighting on the side of Russia

Nearly 2,000 Africans are fighting alongside Russian forces, Ukraine's Foreign Minister has claimed.

Andriy Sibiha reported that Russia is convincing Africans with false promises, signing contracts that amount to a death sentence.

South Africa and Kenya have announced that they are investigating cases of their citizens found fighting or being held in Russia.

Ukraine has announced that it will soon release data on the countries and regions from which the recruited fighters come.
