More than 800 flights were canceled at US airports today as the ongoing budget impasse has left air traffic controllers understaffed.
Thousands of passengers were affected mainly in Chicago, Atlanta and Dallas.
The Trump administration is under intense pressure to end the so-called "shutdown", due to the non-approval of the budget, which has left hundreds of thousands of workers without pay, causing travel disruptions ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
