The search for a tourist missing in Cyprus turned off

The coordination center for the search and salvation of Larnaki (SRC) said that on April 25 at 16:40, the operation to find a missing person in the Gulf of Chrysochus was officially completed. 

The operation lasted since noon on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, and lasted a total of 72 hours.

Search work covered an extensive territory: from Cape Arnautis to the village of School, as well as the entire sea water area of ​​the Gulf of Chrysochus with an area of ​​about 186 square kilometers.

The operation was attended by the forces of the National Guard, including a helicopter and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), a helicopter of the air operations units of the police, the UAV units of the police technological development, foot patrols of the Pathos police, as well as employees and civil defense drones.

The United Center for Combating Organized Crime remains in full readiness to resume work in the event of a new information.
