The year 2025 has gone down in history as the best in the history of Cyprus tourism, accompanied by record performances, pointed out the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Kostas Koumis.
Speaking at the annual report of the undersecretary, Mr. Koumis said that the leading role of tourism as a strategic pillar of development and building resilience for the economy is confirmed.
He added that arrivals exceeded 4.5 million visitors for the first time, up 12.2% year-on-year and up 41.6% over a three-year period.
Also, revenues, for the January-November period, increased by 5.3%, compared to the previous year and a 51.1% increase, in a three-year horizon.
