Public Consultation – Limassol Zoo

Public Consultation – Limassol Zoo

The Online Public Consultation regarding the Study of the Redevelopment of the Limassol Zoo Area into a "Limassol Biodiversity and Urban Environment Center - NATURE" is in progress.

The consultation aims to capture the views of citizens and agency representatives on the proposed future and the new role of the space, which is expected to evolve into a modern core of environmental education, awareness and urban sustainability.

The process is implemented by the Cyprus Center for Environmental Research and Education (CYCPEE) on behalf of the Municipality of Limassol. The participation of the citizens is of crucial importance, as the results of the Public Consultation will essentially contribute to the formulation of informed decisions for the future of an iconic space and, by extension, for the quality of life in the city of Limassol.

Those interested can be informed about the study and complete the Electronic Public Consultation through the link below until February 28, 2026:

Limassol Zoo

As part of the process, a live Public Consultation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the Panos Solomonidis Municipal Cultural Center.

Citizens' opinion counts. Everyone's participation is important.
