The northeastern United States is still dealing with the consequences of a powerful snowstorm that hit the region since Sunday, with more than 330,000 households without power.
Coastal areas south of Boston, Massachusetts and Rhode Island were particularly hard hit, with up to 3 feet of snow in the area. A curfew is in effect and schools remain closed.
About 2,000 flights were canceled and nearly 1,000 were delayed today, particularly at airports in Boston and New York.
Problems are also recorded in public transport.
