"I am glad that Pissouri becomes the center of the art of Cyprus and attraction for people who are united by the care of maintaining nature, our beautiful country. Pissouri is unique with its beauty - the sea, its pines and mountains. We recently received international recognition and joined the 55 best tourist villages in the world, and the beauty of Pissouri became known everywhere. My mission is to protect our land. "
Festival Initiative, Mariia Plekhova:
"As an artist I see the beauty of Cyprus and I want to help keep it. It hurts to see the trees die, so I decided to organize the Cyprus Art Week International Festival. Through art we attract the attention of both the local and international community, as well as international organizations, to the preservation of nature and the trees. I will do whatever is possible so that trees do not suffer from people's whims »
