The Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis was very important to launch the process of delineating Aoez between Greece and Libya.
He stressed that this development is noted just 24 hours after the formalization of the participation of the US company Chevron, in the international competition for the four maritime plots south of Crete and the Peloponnese, and the clear recognition of Greece's energy and geopolitical importance.
He noted that there is a long way to go with Libya until it was possible to reach an agreement, but pointed out that this is a positive development.
At the same time, Mr. Mitsotakis stated that the road to the wider regional stability goes through Agreements of Genuine of neighboring countries, based on international law and not from arbitrary and non -existent memoranda.
The Greek Prime Minister also referred to the market of the 4th state -of -the -art frigate Belharra, announcing that the relevant bill of the Ministry of Defense was already tabled in Parliament.
He emphasized that the new frigate "Themistocles", along with the frigate "Kimonas" and the other two frigates "Nearchos" and "Formion", would dramatically upgrade the operational capabilities of the Greek Navy.
