The Chinese government accused the United States of implementing a policy of "two meters and two stations", following the threat of US President Donald Trump that 100% additional customs customs duties will be imposed on Chinese goods in addition to its country.
Trump explained that he was reacting to the decision of the world's second largest economy to adopt further restrictions on the export of technologies associated with the mining and production of rare morals - neuralgic mines. A decision that Trump described as a "extremely aggressive attitude towards trade".
US new duties will be implemented on November 1 or even "earlier", Trump added.
The Asian giant is the largest producer of rare land in the world. These are raw materials absolutely essential in many industries. Washington has already accused Beijing of abusing its dominant position in the field.
The new checks were announced by Beijing on Thursday.
