Switzerland: At least 47 killed in explosion at bar in Crans-Montana ski resort

Tragedy in Switzerland, where at least 47 people were killed and 100 injured, from a powerful explosion that occurred in a bar in Crans-Montana.

Among the victims are citizens of other countries.

The area has been cordoned off and a no-fly zone has been imposed over the well-known winter resort.

Swiss police clarified that the incident was not related to terrorism.

According to Swiss media, the bar was full of patrons at the time of the explosion.

According to the authorities, 10 helicopters and 40 ambulances have been deployed in the area.

Italy's foreign minister, Antonio Tajani, said the fire may have been caused by fireworks.
