The Association of Tourism Development of Paphos invites everyone to explore the Akamas peninsula. Participation is free, in the program - a visit to four villages: Ardodes, Ingia, Dungery and Katikas.
Free excursions to Akamas are traveling every Saturday during September, October and November. They aimed at popularizing this direction and revitalizing the local economy. The initiative of the Tourist Development Association of Paphos corresponds to the declared goal of the government to support the village of Akamas. The undertaking of tourism finances the initiative. The location of places on each trip is limited by the capacity of the bus. Be sure to book places online (in the form you must indicate the date and contact information you are interested in).
The program is as follows every Saturday:
09:15 - Departure from the parking lot of the Archaeological Park Kato Paphos (on the map). The route lies through the picturesque coastal zone and the forest of Payea; 10: 00 - a visit to the village of Arrodes and the information center of geology and Akamasa Paleontology; 10: 45 - stop at the village area, visit the coffee shop (drinks at your own expense), the ability to visit the church of St. Kalandion; 11: 15 - arrival in the village of Hyia, visiting the Museum of Turtles of INII and Lara; 12: 15 - visiting the village of Drushiy and the information center of rural life and the traditions of Akamas, presentation of local crafts; 13: 15 - visiting the village of Katikas and the center of the Ornitaum and Flora Akamas; 14: 00 - lunch (at its own expense) or independent walk in the village; 15: 30 - 30: 30 - 30: 30: 30: 30: 30: 30: 30: 30: 30: 30: 30: 30: 30: 30: 30: 30 Departure to Paphos; 16: 15 - arrival in the parking lot of the Archaeological Park Kato Paphos.
