Remarkable development regarding the defense industry sector in Cyprus is noted by the President of the Republic.
Addressing a greeting at the start of the work of the third international conference on defense and security, in Nicosia, he noted that Cyprus is developing into an essential contributor to the ecosystem of European defense and dual-use technologies.
He said that Cypriot companies attracted approximately forty-eight million euros in direct financing, enhancing their technological capabilities, product development and industrial capacity, while helping to establish Cyprus as a "reliable and credible co-producer in the European defense supply chain."
