Deputy Minister of Social Welfare: Council of Ministers approved work to support people with disabilities

The Council of Ministers today approved a new co -financed project with the aim of social integration of people with disabilities.

Undersecretary of Social Welfare Marilena Evangelou said that project includes the introduction and extension of a total of 8 services.

These are decision -making advisors, trainers of people with disabilities, personal work assistants, employment professionals, social attendants, interpreters of Cypriot sign language, supported living programs and early family support.

The total cost of the project is EUR 10 million.
