Digital media Limassol Today is looking to hire a Limassol-based journalist for a full-time position.
Duties:
Managing news flow, writing and monitoring news, evaluating news and preparing news for publication, monitoring and managing social media of Limassol Today, monitoring the news and the cultural, environmental, technological, economic, business, scientific, development agenda of Limassol and creating reports, interviews, evaluating and editing texts, ability to create primary articles.
Required Qualifications:
• University degree in journalism, law, political/social/economic sciences or other related field
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken language (Greek/English)
• Very good knowledge and management of computers, wordpress, technological tools of sound, photography, video, and social media (social media)
• Connoisseur of Limassol issues
• Knowledge, continuous monitoring, updating and understanding of current affairs
• Adherence to schedules
• Creativity, responsibility, initiative, integrity
• Communication skills and development of a network of contacts and sources
• Previous experience in a related profession of two (2) years or more
• Physical presence
• First spoken and written language: Greek
What we offer:
– Salary depending on qualifications and experience
– Work 5 days a week (in case of a weekend or evening shift, another day of the week is given off)
– 13th salary
