In Greece, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced a meeting with a delegation of farmers for Monday.
He said that he will wait in his office, in Megaros Maximos, for whatever delegation of farmers is appointed, as long as the meeting has a clear purpose.
So far there has been no reaction from the farming community.
The farmers continue their multi-day dynamic mobilizations throughout the Greek territory, having set up roadblocks with their tractors on the main roads of the country.
With the accumulated problems facing the sector, the wave of protest swelled after the OPEKEPE scandal, with the illegal subsidies from community funds and the intervention of the European Public Prosecutor's Office.
