More than 240 exhibits are presented at the Cyprus Museum of Historical and Classic Cars. These are unique retro cars that seem to have come to Limassol straight from the screens of old Hollywood films.
Here, every guest will be able to experience an unforgettable experience and get acquainted with original exhibits covering more than a century of the history of the automotive industry.
A true veteran of the collection is a Benz Motorwagen from 1886. It is the first gasoline-powered car in the world and the oldest in Cyprus. You'll also find the President's 1977 Cadillac, the Mini driven by Mr. Bean, one of Margaret Thatcher's cars, and the helmet of motorsport legend Ayrton Senna.
The museum was opened in Limassol in 2014, it covers an area of about 3000 sq.m. The founder of the museum is Dimis Mavropoulos, a former professional racing driver.
In 2021, the museum received a gold medal at the Cyprus Tourism Awards.
