The Russian armed forces launched a combined airstrike against the city of Kremenchuk in central Ukraine overnight, causing disruptions to electricity, heating and water supply.
According to local authorities, dozens of drones and hypersonic missiles were used during the attack, resulting in successive, powerful explosions.
The city of Kremenchuk is an important industrial center and has one of the largest oil refineries in Ukraine.
On the other hand, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its anti-aircraft defense systems intercepted and destroyed 77 Ukrainian drones in Russian airspace.
