On September 29, they called me twice and “invited” me to meet at the hotel in Limassol. I was told that if I do not come, then they will kill my family. We took friends and went, ”said the companion of a citizen of Ukraine.
The meeting in the hotel quickly grew into conflict. “I am a thief in law. How can you ignore me and refuse to pay? I will kill your family, ”said the Russian mentioned above. Then the participants in the "negotiations" left the hotel to fresh air, where a shot sounded after a quick fight.
The 42-year-old citizen of Ukraine received a bullet in the stomach. It is operated on and is under guard at the Central Hospital of Limassol. The victim confirmed the police that he was extorting money for the “roof”. Only, according to him, it was not about half a million, but about 300 thousand euros.
