One of the two suspects in the case of attempting to a citizen of Ukraine came to the Limassol police

Around 15:30 Thursday, October 2, accompanied by a lawyer to the Limassol police

Arrived

One of the two suspects in the assassination case on a 42-year-old citizen of Ukraine. 39-year-old citizen of Greece and the Republic of Cyprus was arrested. The second suspect-a 44-year-old citizen of Russia-is still on the wanted list. It is assumed that he shot.

Recall that in the evening of September 29, in a coastal hotel of Lux in Luxol, a business meeting grew into a verbal conflict, then into a fight with the participation of eight to ten people, and ended with a shot from a pistol from close range. A citizen of Ukraine was wounded in the stomach. He was operated on in the central hospital of Limassol. According to the doctors, the condition is serious, but there is no threat to life.

According to the Limassol police, a suspect of shooting and his friend reached the village of Zigi, where they threw a car and called a taxi. The taxi driver said that he took two passengers before entering Nikosia. Further their route is unknown. The police did not exclude that both people put on the wanted list on the occupied north of the island. On October 2, it became clear that this version is at least 50% incorrect.

Friends of the victim Ukrainian citizen did not provide the police with comprehensive data on his occupation and the essence of negotiations at the hotel. September 30 in the apartment of the wanted citizen of Russia was searched. The police found two stores with cartridges and hacking tools.
