The Police Internal Audit Service (PIA) is investigating against a member of the Police the following offenses concerning:
Unlawful Acquisition of PropertyTithing of a Public ServantTheft by a Public ServantAbuse of PowerFraud and Abuse of Trust by a Public Servant
Offenses related to the Prevention of Anti-Money Laundering Law
The said member of the Police was arrested on a warrant, today 01/21/2025 at 1815 hours, in relation to the above offenses under investigation.
The exams are being continued by YEEA.
The Police Leadership emphasizes once again that the fight against corruption is a priority for the Police. The Police remain committed to their mission and committed to serving society with integrity and respect.
