In France, hundreds of books were damaged due to a water leak at the Louvre Museum.
According to the director of the Museum, about 400 books of the Egyptian Antiquities library, which date from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, were affected.
He also said that these are extremely useful documents, but by no means unique in the world, adding that they will be dried, sent to the bookbinder and then placed back on the library shelves.
