We built relations with all the publishers colleagues, including the owners of radio and television channels. One of them invited us to create a joint project - to release a news program in Russian. So in Cyprus by the forces of the "Herald of Cyprus" and Plus TV appeared "Telegyazet". Russian speech sounded on one of the main Cypriot television channels, Sunday issues came out with Greek subtitles. We have increasingly turned from a newspaper into a cultural and educational platform for the entire multinational community.
"Bulletin of Cyprus" goes on the air
The weekly news program for Russian compatriots was published on Sundays. For 45-minute, in Russian with Greek subtitles, we told, and, most importantly, now they showed Cypriot news on one of the leading national television channels of the Republic of Cyprus. Surprisingly, not only Russian -speaking people, but also many Cypriots watched the program with pleasure. Each issue appeared online so that the audience is maximum.
It was devoted to various issues of the life of the diaspora, as well as Cyprus news. Surprisingly, not only Russian -speaking people, but also many Cypriots watched the program with pleasure. Each issue appeared online so that the audience is maximum.
Television School: Learning to shoot and mount
As part of the same project, in collaboration with the Russian Academy of Radio and Television, VK opened a television school in Cyprus: two groups of students who planned to release their own videos for short -term courses for short -term courses. Their educational work was also shown on Plus TV.
Meetings with those who make decisions
Continuing a series of meetings with the Minister of the Interior, we began to organize meetings of readers with ambassadors and mayors, regularly invite Russia to the Consular Department of the Russian Embassy, the Immigration Service and social services of Cyprus to consult.
The "Herald of Cyprus" gradually turned from the media into a real cultural and educational center for the multinational Russian-speaking population of Cyprus. It must be said that not only Russians, Ukrainians and Belarusians always came to the editorial office and for our holidays, but also residents of all other countries of the former USSR, as well as Russian-speaking Serbs, Poles, Bulgarians and immigrants from the countries of the former Eastern Bloc, who had once learned Russian and still retained respect for Russian culture.
