Do you know what is the most valuable in our work? When good ideas, born once, turn into good traditions. One of these traditions was the holding of the annual Day of Children's Creativity - a holiday that unites families and children of various nationalities.
Family holiday for a multinational community
In 2008, another kind tradition was laid: the annual days of children's creativity - a holiday for the whole family begins. When the first children's festival was held in 2006 in the municipal park of Limassol, the mayor of the Hermassoy andreas Gavriilidis district asked us to hold the “same event” in the territory of its district. “Hermemassa is the most multinational area of Limassol,” the mayor said then. - Therefore, it is very important for us to meet as often as possible with its inhabitants. We want all foreigners to feel comfortable here, and the Cypriots perceive them as friends and good neighbors. And you need to start with family communication! "
The world of children's creativity and joy
Thus, the idea of organizing a family holiday was born, which would become the center of communication of children of different nationalities. The main thing is to create a creative situation, so more than 20 master classes worked at the first holiday, show and exhibitions were held, we even for the first time in Cyprus-organized a fashion show where the dogs went to the podium. The children were delighted! Then we will call this event “Days of Children's Creativity” - in a couple of years the scale of the conduct grew so much that one day a rich program of children's entertainment could no longer fit. The "Bulletin of Cyprus" organized this free summer holiday for Limassol children in Germass over the next ten years.
Classes at the Bravo Club Center for Intellectual Development "Bravo!"
In 2008, our educational center opened a new unit - the Center for Intellectual Development of Children "Bravo!". Now we began to deal with children not only according to the generally accepted school and preschool programs, but also according to our own intellectual development programs from 3 to 9-10 years, developed by the team of teachers of the educational center “Vestnik Cyprus”.
Special issues for presidential visits
For the official visit of the President of Cyprus to Russia, we prepared a special issue of a newspaper telling about relations between Cyprus and Russia, about prospects, plans, projects and, of course, about people who strengthened these relations. The tradition of preparing special missions for presidential visits has been preserved for many years: flying away on the next business trip, I always took a new digest with me.
Constitution in Russian
In order for the Russian -speaking residents of Cyprus to better understand the laws and the rules adopted in the country, the “Bulletin of Cyprus” continued to publish a lot of reference information, and most importantly, during that year he translated into Russian and published the main law of the country - the Constitution of the Republic of Cyprus. This is a tremendous work: it was necessary not only to prepare the correct translation, but also to coordinate it in all instances in order to avoid discrepancies and contradictions.
