A woman suffering from cancer 4 stages is looking for housing after a fire that destroyed her house in Limassol

Crystal Paraskev

, a resident of the Pan-Kivides (Limassol), suffering from cancer of the fourth stage, was in a desperate situation: after a destructive fire, she was left without a roof over her head and urgently needs a new housing.

The Paraskeva house was completely destroyed by fire, and it was temporarily relocated to the apartment, which, according to her, should leave until the end of August. She wrote about this on her Facebook page:

“I am sick with cancer of the fourth stage. I can't move so often. Everyone who can help - please. My house in Pano Kivides was completely burned out. ”

Crystal needs help in searching for new housing in the Pano Chivides area-according to her, she is not able to withstand frequent crossings, and the state of health and respiratory problems only exacerbate the situation.

Information about the fire and the distress of a woman was confirmed by the leader of the Pano Chivides community Konstantinos Papateodor.

“Yes, the case is real. Unfortunately, in our community there is no free housing. We are looking for options, but it is very difficult, ”he said.

He added that the specialists of the district administration have already recorded damage to the house, but the restoration will take time.

Paraskeva said that she is currently living in an apartment rented by a private company. However, the owner wants to use it for other purposes, and a woman needs to move out before the end of the month.

“I came here only with two things that I had with me. And now I have to leave again, ”she shared.

According to crystals, every 15 days she needs to visit the German oncological center, and she does not have a car, and it becomes more difficult to move.

“I no longer have the strength to look for a new house,” she admitted.

Any help - both in the search for housing and in transportation or financial support - is now extremely necessary for this woman, who finds himself in difficult life circumstances.
