Welcoming autumn with two street food festivals

Welcoming autumn with two street food festivals

Autumn feels far away still, even with September just around the corner but two events arrive soon to mark the new season.

The Seaside Street Food Festival will soon host not one but two three-day events; first in Larnaca on September 27-29 and then in Paphos on October 4-6. Food vendors have been carefully selected, the music line-up is being prepared and sidebar activities and games are being planned.

In Larnaca, the event will take place in Europe Square and will have free entry. Once there, visitors will be able to pass by the dozens of food stands and taste their delicious creations. Hot dogs, pizzas, burgers, Mexican food, Cypriot cuisine, sushi, bagels crepes, ice creams, poke bowls and so much more will be served. Bars will serve ice-cold beers and cocktails made by specialist bartenders.

Then on the first weekend of October, the festival will travel to another coastline of the island and set up in front of the Paphos Medieval Castle Square. The three-day food fiesta will be repeated with even more food vendors, music entertainment and drinks, keeping the island’s nightlife alive and buzzing into October too.
