Former Ambassador to Cyprus Stanislav Osadchy was awarded the Evgeniy Primakov Medal!

The famous Russian diplomat Stanislav Viliorovich Osadchiy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Cyprus in 2013–2022, was awarded a departmental award - the Evgeniy Maksimovich Primakov Medal. The award is presented for a special contribution to the development of international relations and strengthening the authority of Russian diplomacy.

The upcoming award was officially announced on December 9 at the traditional evening of the MGIMO Greek Language Club. The award ceremony will take place on December 11.

Stanislav Osadchiy has for many years actively contributed to the development of friendly, cultural and humanitarian ties between Russia and Cyprus, and also maintained close cooperation with the communities of Russian and Cypriot MGIMO graduates. His diplomatic activities were widely recognized both in professional circles and among public circles.

The Primakov Medal is considered one of the most significant departmental awards in the Russian diplomatic system and is awarded for outstanding services in the international arena.
