On the morning of September 16, employees of the Main Directorate of Road Police stopped Avdellerro-Afien Flight bus, whose wheel was a 58-year-old man.
There were 54 passengers in the vehicle’s cabin, which exceeds the permissible amount (50 people).
The driver’s behavior seemed suspicious and they sent a man to Alcotest, who showed 63 μg% alcohol in exhausted air (6.3 ppm) with an acceptable limit of 9 μg%.
The driver was arrested for a gross violation of the rules of the road. As expected, today he will appear in front of the Larnaki district court for immediate consideration of the case.
