The intention of the government to continue the dialogue on ATA was expressed by the Minister of Finance.
Speaking on the Morning Route, Makis Keravnos added that even the employers left the issue open for discussion. Regarding the tax incentives for the employer side, Mr. Keravnos noted that these are incentives aimed at more employees benefiting from the ATA institution
The finance minister added that tax incentives are part of a comprehensive solution to the issue. Also speaking on the Morning Itinerary, the General Secretary of the KEBE, Filokypros Rousounidis, emphasized that a draft is approved or rejected as a whole and explained that although there were convergences, the government's draft for ATA was not satisfactory in its entirety.
Mr. Rousounidis said that the will for social dialogue in a constructive spirit has been demonstrated.
The General Secretary of SEK, Andreas Matsas, stated that the dialogue process should not return to issues that have been overcome.
Mr. Matsas said that there was a disagreement about the minimum wage and regarding the measures to expand the institution, characterizing it as important to clarify where the disagreement is from the employers' side in order to consider possible solutions.
