Autumn will come to Cyprus this week. Showers and thunderstorms are expected and temperatures will drop. On the coast the thermometer will drop to +22-23 degrees during the day, and in the Troodos mountains at night - to +3.
On Monday, November 10, Cypriot weather forecasters predict partly cloudy weather. The air in the interior regions will warm up to +28 degrees, on the eastern and southern coasts - up to +29, on the western - up to +26, on the peaks of Troodos - up to +15.
On Tuesday, November 11, the air temperature is expected to drop by a couple of degrees. The wind will blow along the southern coast with gusts up to five points on the Beaufort scale. Paphos and Polis may experience rain overnight.
A gradual deterioration in weather conditions will begin on Wednesday, November 12. Rain and thunderstorms may occur in the mountains, inland areas and the western part of the island. The air temperature may drop another 1-2 degrees. There may be rain in Nicosia and Troodos during the day.
The cyclone will reach the coast of Cyprus on the night of Thursday, November 13. There will be rain and thunderstorms throughout the island for three days. Heavy precipitation is not expected: up to a maximum of 25 mm may fall per day, with the monthly norm for November being 53 mm. Sometimes the sun will appear in the sky.
The coldest day of the week will be Saturday, November 15, when the thermometer drops to +22 on the coast and inland areas and to +8 in the mountains. Then the air temperature will begin to rise.
