The Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, expressed his intention to visit Cyprus, in the framework of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union, during his meeting with President Christodoulidis, in Kyiv.
As reported by the RIC envoy, Tasos Christodoulou, Zelensi responded positively to an invitation addressed to him by the President of the Republic.
President Christodoulidis presented a list of 19 proposals to support Ukraine, during the Cyprus Presidency.
According to the KYPE, at the meeting Nicosia was allegedly given information about Turkish companies circumventing European sanctions against Russia, with Kiev stating that it will raise the matter with Ankara.
