Police treating death of woman in Limassol as premeditated murder

The police are treating the death of 30-year-old Victory Osarumen Thompson in Limassol on Sunday as a premeditated murder and have arrested three people in connection with the case.

The three who were arrested are two 24-year-old women and one 35-year-old woman, all of whom are expected to appear in court on Monday.

According to the police, the woman was found with “injuries to various parts of her body”.

It is expected that an autopsy will be performed on Monday.

On Sunday, Limassol police spokesman Lefteris Kyriakou told the newspaper that the police had been informed that a body had been found in a block of flats by the ambulance service at around 11am.

He added that Thompson had lived in the building “for the last few days” and that she shared her flat with other people.

The police’s investigation into the matter is ongoing.
