Rail services in the Channel Tunnel have "frozen" due to a fault

Power failure affects services on the underground rail network in the Channel Tunnel.

As announced, Eurostar routes, which serve the London-Paris-Brussels route, as well as Le Shuttle services, which transport vehicles, have been suspended.

There is no indication of a security issue, other than the technical failure, however the situation is classified as very serious and technical crews are working to repair the failure.
